Mr. LeWinter has extensive experience in civil jury trials, having conducted more than seventy-five. He has represented clients in complex negligence, product liability, auto, and workplace safety. His meticulous attention to detail, creativity, and expertise in using technology to prepare and present cases have earned him a stellar reputation among his peers. Over four decades, Mr. LeWinter has secured numerous seven and eight-figure verdicts and settlements, such as a $14 million verdict in a construction site fall, a $25 million verdict involving a motorcycle and truck, a $19 million settlement for a quadriplegic iron worker, a $12 million settlement for a woman paralyzed at a Jamaican resort, and a $6.5 million settlement for a leg injury in an industrial accident. Mark has achieved the highest rating for both skill and ethics by Martindale-Hubbell. Additionally, his peers have recognized him as a “Best Lawyer in America” for several consecutive years. A litigator for decades, Mark is passionate about the law and the importance of civil jury trials and serves on the National Board of the American Board of Trial Advocates known as “ABOTA”. Mr. LeWinter has presented over a 100 seminars on using technology for case preparation, presenting evidence, settlement brochures, and trial advocacy. Mr. LeWinter has generously shared his magical talent for over two decades by performing at the Oncology Clinic of the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania and other local hospitals. He is an accomplished magician passionate about giving back to the community. In addition, he has developed and delivered a distinctive seminar on the “Magic of Advocacy” for the past decade. Technology Background

For more than 30 years, I have been enthusiastic about integrating technology into my legal work. I began using a DOS-based case management program called PINS (later known as Needles) when the internet was still in its infancy and before the introduction of Windows. I can recall an instance when a fellow lawyer entered my office and advised me that it was not appropriate for a lawyer to have a computer on their desk, as it was something only support staff should have. Times have certainly changed! I’ve always been fascinated by the advancements in technology. In the past two decades, I have gained a great deal of expertise in utilizing computer programs such as Casemap, Notemap, and Textmap. But with the emergence of touchscreen devices and the convenience of the iPad, my options have expanded significantly. I now use apps like TrialPad to assist me in presenting information and organizing my various documents and exhibits. Moreover, with the introduction of LIT SUITE apps, I no longer need to depend on third-party options to manage transcripts and documents as everything is integrated seamlessly. With my vast litigation experience, I strongly believe that lawyers can accomplish remarkable feats with just a touch of creativity. I am thrilled to share my passion for technology with litigators nationwide and demonstrate how using an iPad can elevate their legal tactics, leading to success in court. It is my privilege to have been recommended by LIT SOFTWARE, LLC and to serve as one of the only two Certified Litigation trainers for LIT SUITE. I take immense pride in my position.

Community Action

As a volunteer for the Musicians on Call program, I have been connecting musicians with patients in healthcare facilities for over 8 years. This experience has been incredibly rewarding as it allows me to bring the healing power of music to those who need it the most. It is truly inspiring to see how music can positively impact someone’s day and lift their spirits. For more than three decades, I have been sharing my passion for close-up magic with children in hospitals across Philadelphia. Alongside my involvement in Musicians on Call, this has been a rewarding way to bring happiness and laughter to young patients who are going through incredibly tough times. The way children react to magic is truly incredible and adds an extra layer of wonder to the experience. It’s humbling to see their bravery and be able to provide them with a moment of entertainment and healing.
